Lean engineering

Microlearning courses are flexible, no duration and can be completed anytime, anywhere and on any device. 

This course is completed through eLearning but assessment may include practical tasks. Assessment is fully supported by qualified tutors and the course fees include assessment and reporting of unit standards on the NZQA framework.

The lean engineering collection is a series of three courses, each builds on the learning from the one before.

  • Continuous improvement principles
  • Return on investment and how to calculate it
  • Root cause analysis and make recommendations for cost effective improvements to a mechanical engineering or fabrication problem.
